Share your very own Games postcard with the world

Feature

Athletes, clyde-siders and thousands of members of the public have been sharing their 'selfie' snaps from the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games by using the brand new Glasgow 2014 Postcards App.

Simply upload your selfie from the Games, add some fun effects and a personalised message, and the app will produce your very own officially branded Glasgow 2014 Postcard – which you can send instantly to family and friends anywhere in the world, direct from your phone!

Some of the 4,500 competitors competing at the Games have already been sending cards to their friends and family back at home from their residential base in the Athletes' Village.

"They have a postcard app and it's probably the coolest thing ever" said one Australian athlete. "I can put my photographs on a postcard and send them. Brilliant!"

This is the perfect way to personalise your Games experience with something you'll want to keep and share for years to come. Download the official Glasgow 2014 Postcards App from iTunes and Google Play, and get snapping!

Glasgow 2014 Photos is also operating from Photo Centres in George Square and in the Athletes' Village, and via the Glasgow 2014 Photos website, where all the live action from the Games can be viewed and personalised.
