Accessibility
Glasgow 2014 will seek to create a Games
environment that is accessible to all people with and without a
disability and which delivers a quality experience to all
constituent groups. As part of this ambition, Glasgow 2014
will develop an Accessibility Policy. This policy will
outline our approach in addressing, amongst other areas, venues
delivery, infrastructure development, service levels and
communications. In doing so, Glasgow 2014 will aim to adhere
to the general accessibility benchmark areas identified by the
International Paralympic Committee, a partner of the Commonwealth
Games Federation, which includes: dignity, equity and
functionality.
