Arena Group provides event overlay services, designing and delivering complete temporary environments for some of the most prestigious sporting and cultural occasions in the global calendar. Past projects include the Ryder Cup, F1 Grand Prix, NFL, HSBC Abu Dhabi Golf Championships, Wimbledon Championships, London 2012 Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee to name just a few.

With six offices in the USA, four in the UK, as well as Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Brazil, Arena Group draws on over 200 years’ of experience to deliver bespoke solutions which maintain brand consistency and quality the world over.

From concept through to installation Arena works with a pragmatic approach, with safety, cost effectiveness, brand experience and sustainability as priorities. Creating the ultimate lasting first impression is the goal and because every event and location is unique, so are the tailored solutions Arena provides.

The group consistently invests in new products and has an extensive stock inventory of the highest-quality demountable structures, seating and interiors products. This includes its curved-roof Arcus structure and patented clearview™ temporary grandstand system which was used to build the iconic 15,000 seat beach volleyball stadium on Horse Guards Parade for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

For Glasgow 2014 Arena is immensely proud to be an Official Overlay and Temporary Structures Provider which will include exclusive responsibility for temporary seating. The contracts will see the team design and install every single seat across all 14 games’ venues, as well as a range of temporary hospitality and exhibition structures.

The UK team is excited to be furthering the company’s legacy for delivering world-class spectator, sponsor and athlete environments here at the 20th Commonwealth Games.
