We don’t want people to just watch the Games, we want people to help make the Games fantastic. We want people to BE THE GAMES.
There are plenty of ways to show your support for the Games – and many thousands of people have already applied to volunteer, have applied for tickets, or come out and supported us and our mascot, Clyde, at events around the country.
Lots of our supporters send requests to use the official Glasgow 2014 branding. Only official sponsors and partners of the Games can use the logo – but we don’t want people to think that this means they can’t support and shout about the Games. We’ve therefore created this special Supporters Badge for people to use on personal or non-commercial websites that mention the Games (especially if you are doing something inspired by the Games or that contributes to the legacy of the Games – like getting fit or helping your local area celebrate the Games).
Please note that your project or initiative may be eligible for official Legacy 2014 branding from the Scottish Government or Glasgow City Council (depending on where the project takes place).
