Volunteers – Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games

Volunteering offers the opportunity to learn and gain experience in many and varied activities. The Commonwealth Games also offer the chance for people from across the UK and across the World to come together, learn new skills, gain new experience and share the enjoyment of volunteering in a global event.

Registering your interest in sharing that experience is the first step in the process which could result in you becoming involved in the Games volunteering programme, if we win the Bid.

Recruitment and selection of volunteers for the Games will not be organised on a first come first served basis. Instead, volunteers will be selected for their individual skills and especially their volunteering experience. Don’t worry if you are not sure how much time you can volunteer . . . you are not committing yourself to anything just yet. We’ll simply keep you informed of developments in the Games volunteering programme through email specific messages.
