Park & Ride

Public transport is a great way to get around Glasgow during Games Time, but for some venues it is expected to be very busy. If you are attending one of the larger events at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and thinking about bringing the car, Park & Ride facilities have been provided to help you get to your venues.

Park & Ride is available for Athletics (Track & Field) at Hampden Park, Rugby Sevens at Ibrox Stadium, Mountain Bike at Cathkin Braes Mountain Bike Trails, Triathlon at Strathclyde Country Park and the Closing Ceremony at Hampden Park.

Spaces are still available for Park and Ride. If you are a ticket holding spectator for Athletics, Mountain Bike Trails, or the Closing Ceremony, who is intending on driving, BOOK NOW.

Regular shuttle services will take you from the Park & Ride site to your event. Venues will have designated Park & Ride site(s), and the services available for each event and venue may vary dependent on the date and session. Please make sure you book the correct site for your ticketed event.

Once you have booked, your tickets will be available to print via the dedicated Park & Ride booking website (operated by ticketSOUP)at a future date. You will be emailed when your tickets are available. You are required to print your ticket and take it with you to the Park & Ride site on the day.
