On foot
Walking to your venue during the Games will give you the chance to take in the Games Time buzz on the way to your venue.
Many venues and Festival hubs are within walking distance of Glasgow city centre. Approximate walking times from George Square (unless otherwise stated) are listed below. Park and Ride
Public transport is a great way to get around Glasgow during Games Time, but for some venues it is expected to be very busy. If you are attending one of the larger events at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and thinking about bringing the car, Park & Ride facilities have been provided to help you get to your venues.

Inclusive Public Transport
Your Glasgow 2014 ticket includes access to local public transport services (trains, buses and Subway) to and from your venue on the day of the event. To access these services, simply show your valid event ticket on request. Find out more
Accessibility information
In addition to taxis and local buses, additional games-specific accessible transport services will be provided at each venue. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be pre-booked. The detail of the services available for each venue is detailed below. Our Spectator Services Accessibility team will be on hand to assist spectators with mobility requirements once they reach the venue.

Spaces are limited at each location, so please book early to avoid disappointment. When phoning to book any of these services please make sure you have to hand your Glasgow 2014 customer reference number (found on your tickets or email correspondence), wheelchair/Easy Access ticket number, along with details of the venue name, date and session you’re visiting.
