I’ve been contacted by someone claiming to be from Glasgow 2014 about my ticket purchase. How do I ensure they are legitimate?

If you are contacted by someone claiming to be from Glasgow 2014 saying they are authorised by or connected to Glasgow 2014, or saying they can help you gain some connection with the Games, please take steps to ensure they are legitimate, particularly if they are asking you to pay them any money. What happens if I have tickets for an event at the same time as one of my volunteer shifts?

We’ll ask you to prioritise your commitments as a volunteer, which in most cases will be a minimum of 8 days during the Games. This means it’s possible you could find yourself with tickets you are unable to use.

The billing address on my credit/debit card is different from where I live and there will be no one at the billing address to accept my tickets. Can tickets be delivered to a different address?

For security purposes, your tickets will be delivered to the address you provided on your ticketing account by secure delivery which must be your billing address.

If I no longer want my tickets can I get a refund?
