Celtic Park
The Opening Ceremony will be held in this magnificent 60,000-seater stadium. The centrepiece of this occasion will be the athletes themselves from around the Commonwealth. The stadium is the home of Celtic Football Club, one of Scotland’s finest football teams, but it is within walking distance to the Village, so that as many athletes as possible can take part.
