The Clyde Auditorium
One of the very popular events in any Commonwealth Games is weightlifting. The Clyde Auditorium, known affectionately as the Armadillo, opened in 1997 and is part of the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre complex. Being a heavyweight in its own right, It is the ideal venue for this event.
