National Indoor Sports Arena
A new National Indoor Sports Arena (NISA) will become a superb legacy for Scotland. It will host the badminton programme, a sport which has a mammoth following throughout the Commonwealth. It will be built beside the Games Village in Dalmarnock. NISA will provide Scotland with its principal indoor sporting venue for elite training with the flexibility to host 5,000 spectators. It will be linked to the National Indoor Velodrome. Work has yet to begin on this arena, although the site preparations are well underway.
