Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome
A new national indoor velodrome is being built in Glasgow for the Games linked to the National Indoor Sports Arena. This will be an outstanding legacy for the track cyclists and a fitting tribute to Sir Chris Hoy, Scotland’s greatest Olympian and Commonwealth Games gold medallist. Work has begun to clear the site for this new 4,000-seater venue.
